$5,000 supports individual & group therapy for 10 disabled seniors, sustaining independence

$500 offers a suicidal teen a crisis assessment, keeping them safe and out of the hospital

Charitable Bequests
A bequest to Access Institute is a meaningful way to ensure your legacy lives on by supporting mental health care for future generations. Your planned gift helps secure the long-term future of our work, and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
Residual Bequests: After providing for loved ones, you may choose to donate a portion—or all—of the remaining assets (the “residue”) to Access Institute.
Specific Bequests: You can designate a fixed dollar amount, a specific asset (such as stock), or a piece of property.
Percentage Bequests: A percentage of your estate can be directed to Access Institute, allowing your gift to adjust with your estate’s value.

I was married to a violent man and hated my job. I was young, overwhelmed by anxiety, on the verge of bankruptcy, and very depressed. Through my interactions with Access Institute, I was able to identify my strengths, leave my abusive relationship and find a new job that I like.
I’m a huge fan of Access Institute. This is one of the few places in the city that provides effective psychotherapy at an affordable price, the cost depends on your financial situation.
