Group Therapy

Group therapy is about harnessing the power of human connection. Bringing people together who are struggling with similar issues in a secure place with a skilled facilitator creates unique opportunities for healing and growth.  Our groups are led by caring and thoughtful professionals who are experienced at creating a therapeutic group process that also addresses the needs of individual members.

Current Groups

Harm Reduction Group — An alternative to 12 step recovery programs, Harm Reduction is a client-centered, collaborative approach that addresses both the substance use problem and the issues driving it and creates a step-by-step process of change that considers all the factors in the individual’s life. The group provides support and addresses the isolation, depression, anxiety and shame related to substance use. Mondays 7:00-8:30pm

Mentalization-Based Group — Mentalization-Based Therapy is an evidence-based treatment designed to manage emotions, understand the intentions of other people, develop new perspectives on difficult situations, increase empathy for others, and improve interpersonal interactions. Members must be in individual therapy concurrently to join the group. Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm
